To install the game, run the SETUP.EXE file from the CD. Follow the prompts on the screen.
We strongly recommend using the large install option. It will required additional space on your hard disk drive, but the game will play significantly faster.
The game requires Video For Windows. If you don't already have this installed in your Windows system, the needed files are on the CD-ROM in a directory titled V_F_W. Run the SETUP.EXE program from that directory to install Video for Windows.
The game doesn't not support the "large font" setting in windows. You should set your Windows configuration to use "small fonts".
The game also requires three fonts that are installed with Windows: MS San Serif, Arial, and Times Roman. If you have deleted or uninstalled these fonts from your Windows system, you may experience some problems with text displays within the game.
If you are running a multi-operating system, with more than one version of Windows installed, we recommend that you install the game from the higher version of the operating system. For example, if you are running a dual-boot system with Windows 3.1 and Windows '95, we strongly recommend that you install the game from (and run it from) the Windows '95 operating system.
The game is designed to run in a 256 color mode, but if you system supports either 16-bit or 24-bit graphics, the quality of the videos will significantly improve when running in the higher color modes.
